The Hamlet of Langdon

Langdon Waterworks has a contract with the Rocky View Utility Corporation to operate the water treatment and distribution systems in the area of the community of Langdon. Our contract means that we provide the necessary manpower, operations expertise and required knowledge of all aspects of running and maintaining the water distribution system. Our services also include administration, meter reading, invoicing, inspections and water billing services.

Our costs and the regulations we must use are mandated and governed by the Alberta Utilities Commission, formerly known as the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board.

MD of Rocky View and other Areas

In addition to the Hamlet of Langdon, the Rocky View Utility Corp has a five by five year contract with the MD of Rocky View to provide operations services to the East Rocky View Wastewater Transmission Main and Lift Stations and also for the Langdon Wastewater Treatment Facilities, and the Hamlet of Langdon Collection System. Stormwater for the Hamlet and grounds keeping is also included in this contract.

Rocky View Utility Corp also has other water system clients in the MD of Rocky View area and in Southern Alberta. Rocky View Utility Corp provides supervisory and/or operations to three other systems.
